eGiftSolutions for Clover

Available in the Clover App Market, eGiftSolutions is the gift card program of choice for Clover merchants nationwide. We offer complimentary design assistance, in-house 24/7 technical support and a no-risk, no-hassle startup program! With pay-as-you-go pricing, no monthly fees or annual order requirements, eGiftSolutions is all about value.

Installation and Setup

In order to use the app, you will need the Clover Pro Service Plan, an eGiftSolutions account, and an external barcode scanner. You may activate the Pro Service Plan via the Clover App Market. We can assist with setting up the eGiftSolutions account and obtaining an external barcode scanner to use the product.

To get started with eGiftSolutions, the first step is deciding on a card design. We offer numerous standard and custom designs with printing in as little as 10 business days. Once you receive your cards, you’ll be able to start using the program right away!

FOLLOWING ARE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO GET STARTED:

  1. If you haven’t already, activate the Pro Service Plan and download the eGiftSolutions app via the Clover App Market (web or device)
  2. Complete the setup process – Call (800) 966-5520 - Option 7 and speak with an eGiftSolutions Coordinator, who will setup your eGiftSolutions account and assist with developing your gift card design. We will provide an electronic preproduction proof via email in PDF format for approval.
  3. Pay for your card order – Once you approve the proof, you may pay for the order to initiate the printing process.
  4. When your cards are in production, you will receive a Welcome Kit with tools to promote your gift card program such as window clings, stickers, envelopes and a countertop display with a gift card holder.
  5. Once your cards arrive, go into the eGiftSolutions App and press “Activate” – your Activation command will be sent to our system and then eGiftSolutions will be ready to work in your Clover™ Station.

We also offer a QuickStart℠ Program that enables you to test the impact of gift cards on your business. For just $100.00, you’ll receive 50 generic cards with your company’s name on the back, envelopes or card holders. Shipping costs are included.

As always, there are no refunds on printed cards (QuickStart or Custom), but since eGiftSolutions has no monthly fees, you only pay when you Activate or Add Value to a card.

FOLLOWING ARE THE TOP 10 TROUBLESHOOTING/FAQS ABOUT THE EGIFTSOLUTIONS APP

  1. Which Clover devices does eGiftSolutions work with?eGiftSolutions works with the Clover Station, Clover Mini and Clover Mobile devices and require the Clover Pro Service Plan. An external barcode scanner must also be used with the Clover Station and is recommended for use with the other Clover devices.
  2. I'm having issues signing up!Please call (800) 966-5520 - Option 7 to speak with an eGiftSolutions Coordinator.
  3. What if my payments/orders do not go through?Please call (800) 966-5520 - Option 7 to speak with an eGiftSolutions Coordinator.
  4. I get an error screen. What do I do?Contact Technical Support at (800) 966-5520 - Option 3.
  5. My app closes down on me. What do I do?Restart the app. If the app continues to close down, try restarting your Clover Station. If it still continues, please contact Technical Support at (800) 966-5520 - Option 3.
  6. My app freezes on me. What do I do?Restart the app. If the app continues to freezes, try restarting your Clover Station. If it still continues, please contact Technical Support at (800) 966-5520 - Option 3.
  7. One of the buttons/features doesn’t seem to work?Contact Technical Support at (800) 966-5520 - Option 3.
  8. I can’t activate a card.You can only activate cards that have never been activated or deactivated. If your card doesn’t accept the activation transaction, try adding value to the card. If that doesn’t work, please contact Technical Support.
  9. I ran a card and there is still an amount due in the Register.The card was likely redeemed for a partial amount because there weren’t sufficient funds on the card. Continue the transaction by taking a different form of payment for the remaining balance. You can check the balance of the gift card you just used in the eGiftSolutions App.
  10. I want to cancel.Gift card printing expenses are non-refundable once a proof is approved. The eGiftSolutions app has no cost unless you Add Value or Activate cards, so not performing those transactions will prevent any charges. You may also remove the eGiftSolutions App from your Clover Station.
